Hello all, I am the new owner of 12407, an 1988 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV. This is my first Lamborghini and my first supercar. I received the car last night. It is bianco on bianco and converted to exterior Euro look. It has 17k miles and is FI. As I stood behind it, I stood there in disbelief that I was now the owner. I cannot wait to learn and experience all that this incredible car has to offer. My first surprise is how tiny the ignition key is. I'm sorry that I did not post this introduction under the official Countach, ultimate supercar thread, as I find it very difficult to actually find specifics that one is looking for in there given its overall size, even though I enjoy that thread very much. Anyhow, please enjoy. I am camera happy and there will be many pics for all of us to enjoy going forward. If anyone knows anything about this particular automobile or its former owner, please share, privately if necessary. Jay, Unbelievable, simply exquisite. I couldn't be happier for you. IMHO, the Countach is the very definition of a Supercar, and you appear to have found yourself an exceptional example. Congrats! I cannot wait to get her and my Testarossa together!
Hey buddy, don't forget to bring the Alpine stereo and obligatory Farrah Fawcett poster with the Countach and Testarossa posters, Nintendo, Pacman video game, Rayban sunglasses, Rubix's cube, Michael Jackson and Madonna music videos on MTV to the V12 80's party! Image Unavailable, Please Login
CONGRAULATION! Wonderful white/white. Enjoy every day & mile. And a very warm welcome at the op of the automobile heaven.
" I stood behind it, I stood there in disbelief that I was now the owner" Yeah, I/we did the same thing. Enjoy and welcome to ownership!!!!
Jay, Welcome to the Countach club!!! Congrats on your new "baby". I know I was like a kid in a candy store when mine arrived too!!! You'll find all sorts of great information here!!!! Mike
Yes, vis-a-vis Fantasy Junction. Thank you very much Bruce and Peter. Both of you were very pleasurable to deal with allowing me to fulfill this dream.
Congratulations your "new arrival". The Countach is truly a work of art. I hope it is everything you were looking for. Oh, and don't worry about all the paparazzi, you'll get used to them.......eventually .
Jay, Well done and it really was worth holding on to the white/white dream, as the saying goes: "Be careful of what you wish for..." The thing I like about this car is that a full Euro body conversion has been done, rather than a partial one. I think that makes all the difference. Enjoy!
Hi Jay. Looking good...! I bet you had a lot of sleepless nights over the last four weeks. Congratulations again. Larry
Fantastic I love it when my dream comes true, even if it is for somebody else, if that makes any sense!? Enjoy the ownership experience . You are a lucky guy.
Jay, I am excited for you! Very nice! The Countach was the first real supercar I ever saw in the flesh. It is still special. When do we get to see it???
