    Just joined the club.
    Bought a 2004 575 (NART Blue, tan interior), 2500 miles, F1,tubi exhaust.

Tubi sounds great from outside, but extremely loud! Sound inside more of an irritation than sweet music. Am considering going back to stock. Those of you that have had both, how bad ie. unsatisfying/un-Ferrari-like is the stock set up? (I had read in some reviews that stock 575's did not sound Ferrari-like and were too isolated). Do the tubis give any credible/documented horsepower gains?

Are there any pattern reliabilty issues to watch for with the 575? Specifically, what has been your experience on the F1 shift? How long have clutches lasted?

Do the timing belts actually need changing after 3 years even if the mileage is very low?

Capristo sounds awesome on a 550, I assume it would on a 575 as well. You might want to give them a try.

Have a similar car with rossa corsa and tan interior. F1 gearbox appears to be reliable although some cars have had expensive repairs. This is a little unenerving as even 04 cars will soon be out of warranty.

Considering a tubi on my car. The stock car exhaust is quite limp and on accelaration actually a little rough. I am considering the tubi otherwise I will have to keep playing my music louder than my passenger can bear.

Timing belts at 3 years is a must. If your engine blows, the bill would be truly painful!

I have no information on clutches.

Perhaps we can swop notes - especially if you can reply to this thread.

    All the best, K

And, the fiorano handling pack can be retrofited by a dealer. Alternatively, there are authorities on this website that can render what sounds like an even more potent handling solution.

    Best,

Thanks for the info. I'd suggest trying out a car with the tubis before converting. They do sound awsome from outside the car, but draw a lot of attention. I expect my neighbors to complain anytime now - they are especially loud on cold start in the morning!

That would be us, we have a 2 way and 3 way adjustable coilover kit for the 550/575. I highly suggest doing your timing belts as its cheap insurance, they are changed with the engine In so you don’t have to worry about crazy service prices. The factory clutch is very strong in stock form. We make headers, high flow cats, X pipe, and exhaust for the 550/575. Please contact us for more details.
