OK, I'm now the owner of the yellow 355 F1. Now what? I'm reading the owners manual, learning my PIN number, trying to locate all the user controls and grinning alot. Am I missing anything? Glenn
1. Get off the internet 2. Drive the car while we still have nice weather! 3. Grin the whole time : )
LOL Welcome aboard! We want pic's!!!!! Congrats on the awesome car, I really like the specs of this one. Now go for a drive!
1. Drive it. 2. Don't worry about the odometer 3. Laugh out loud when you hear it over 6k RPMs 4. Rinse and Repeat
listen to what everyone else said! Get off your computer right now, go outside and drive that thing!! And slap on a huge smile while you're doing it. Enjoy! PS - pictures please
Congratulations on buying the 'best car in the world ..... EVER'!!!!! As Bullfighter has advised new owners in the past ......... "post some pics, before some smart ass tells you to post some pics" .........
Here is a pic for you......Sorry to go off topic I still had my mind on yesterdays topic! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Please drive your new baby. You never know what the future will bring. Perhaps someday you might not be able to drive...and the one thing on our mind will always be; 'Why didn't i drive her more often?" I just bought my 99 F1 Spider last month and have put 2100 miles on her already and have thoroughly enjoyed every mile!!!!!
Yes. Driving it ... fall is coming soon, and after that you'll be bundling it up so ... stop posting and start driving! Oh, and post pics please, and enter the S/N of your car into 285ferrari's F355 Registry
Thanks for the welcome, everyone. You're a great bunch of my new 'family' now. The car is the one posted here which was listed at $68K with pictures. Of course I'll be taking more. We negotiated a bit because the car was due for a major, engine out service based on time. It was delivered to my F-car specialist who will completely go through everything over the next seven to ten days, then I drive like a thief. Now I need more garage space, I have the 355, NSX and the Pantera. (www.panteraguy.com) and my daily ride. Minor problem, just renting storage garage until I build another one here. Thanks again, looking forward to a long relationship. Glenn
Like everyone here is saying, get out and drive that beast!!! I have put 309 miles on mine in the first week I have had it (348SS#63) and each and every mile has been thrilling (especially in tunnels - that will really make you smile - make sure to down shift and slow before entering ) Will catch up with you when I get back to the East Coast in OCT. Welcome to the Ferrari brotherhood, there are a ton of really cool people here. MB
Welcome to the forum and to the great bunch of guys and I am sure a few gals you will ever chat with. Get out and drive and watch the reaction you get from people see you driving one of the greatest cars ever built. I do, As a matter of my 355F1 is only car runs right right now. Other car(an MB) and bike are broke. What a shame!!
Awesome first Ferrari the only advise I can give for a 355 owner is make a map of all the local hair salons for emergency gel replacement..
This is very well 'on' topic since we know the 355 is associated with 'special' jugs ......... of which we will find forever attractive ...... if I was a quadriplegic with only one good eye ......... I would still be checking jugs out ....... !!! +1 .......... hair gel, spas and beauty salons are synonymous of 355 ownership .....
The ladies love day spa's and beauty salons, I love the ladies, the only conclusion I can take from that is the 355 is the perfect Ferrari. Is there really anything this car cannot do????
