New Owner!!

Demuro is pretty much the only reason I still read Jalopnik, but I agree that his opinion on Ferraris is too jaded. I feel like it's because he owned his 360 in all the wrong conditions. He lived in a crowded city and stored the car far away and had to write articles so the car became work for him...


Don't even get me started on Tavarish...

 

I still enjoy reading his posts as well, even if they are too jaded at times. His writing style is entertaining. You hit the nail on the head: cars are just work to him. He even admitted that the 360 was the most reliable car he'd ever owned before selling it. He would probably have never sold it if not for his job but he always needs a new car to write about.

He is always saying how much he loved the 355 for the looks and performance but that everyone should avoid it with a 10 foot pole because it is constantly breaking. I think he has a warped view of the 355. And he also leaves out the fact that nearly all manual F cars are appreciating right now so any money you spend on repairs isn't a big deal in the long run if you hold on to the car. Any used car comes with risks, at least a Ferrari that you love is worth it.

 

Congrats pal! I can't wait to see mine.. I bought one a couple of weeks ago and I am just waiting on delivery now....
