You might want to fill out some information in your profile, so that people in the same area with the same interests can lend you some local help. Other than dealerships, you can see exotics at autoshows, obviously. For example, the Edmonton Car Show is happening pretty quick, if not already.
Welcome to the board. If you're located in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver you might want spot more than a few just driving about. As well, you're more than welcome at any of the FerrariChat events that I'm sure will be going on once the weather gets better (well, at least in Toronto/Montreal as the Vancouver guys have it good).

I'm new too. Just wanted to say hello and thanks for all of the info you guys have provided. I've been reading f-chat for a while now and thought that I finally own one so I'd better join. It really helped with my research before I bought my 360 Spider. I love the car!!! I've had it since August and can't wait for the nice weather again. Lucas has great talent and you wont be disappointed with his work, I personally love the pic he did for me last summer. Hopefully you will visit the site on a regular basis and post more often and join us for soem fun times in the summer. Last year was a great group of fcars with some great freinds, and drives. Thank you everyone for your replies. Something about me....ok, Im 28 single very independent woman and do like ferraris.....(i think its from my dads side). I do live in toronto, born and raised. I have been to the dealer here @ ferrari of ontario, they are very nice over there, but it seems limited in the cars they get. I do like all kinds of ferraris, I guess my top favs would be the tr, and the little bug eye dino. Its a nice little car, and looks very stylish. I guess I would like to learn more because I would like to one day purchase one. If I had the chance to, it would be the little dino, I know its not fast and has a small 6 engine, but its a beautiful little car. It reminds me of my old alfa. Without sounding forward are there any real ferrari owners on this site ? if so, how many? and do you have any rallies I may be able to attend this coming summer. I go to Montreal often for bix and would also like to see the same over there. Thanks for the replies.....and one final question, any other women on this line? Thanks. V.

Join the FCA and get invited to all the events. Torotno chapter is very well planed and has a ton of events including track days. Ownership is not a prerequisit to join but it is $100US a year. It also gets you the "Prancing horse" magazine and "Northern Prancer". If you need more info just email me through F-chat. Welcome.

Welcome to the site, both fcarlady and Drecun! Always nice to see some fresh blood out here...even in the usually Fcar slim winter season. To expand on some of your topics and answer some of your questions.... Who doesn't love the TR? One of our most active members (Big red) has a gorgeous red TR with borla exhaust, sounds, drives and looks unreal. There was another very high milage (not that you can tell, but its nice to see "unbabied" fcars occasionally!) yellow TR at one of our gettogethers earlier this summer. Also very sweet. This also is one of my personal favorites, second only to the Daytona IMHO. Very rare to see on "in the wild" these days, but not impossible. At the unveiling of the 430 held at FoO earlier this year, someone brought a completely restored and virtually flawless yellow Dino...this one was special. There are many actual Fcar owners on this site/section, however ownership is certainly NOT required to participate in any way. We often get together during better weather days for drives and meets...some in particular were very wild this year (ya, I'm talking about you Rick! ) Lots of different cars in the "usuals" group, both vintage and more current models. All in all, a great bunch of people. Not sure of any in particular who are active in this section, but there are a few here and there on the site,...... but we've had many wives and girlfriends at the meets who definitely share in the passion. I doubt you'd feel out of place or uncomfortable...either posting here or at the meets. Enjoy your time here at Fchat. If I may suggest, when I first joined, I spent literally weeks reading up on a myriad of Ferrari topics which interested me...just use the search and prepare for a TON of info. You might want to search our Canadian section back during the summer time for threads and pics on our meets which I mentioned above...or, go to the vintage section and search under "Dino". You will be amazed at the amount of info which has amassed here over the years, both locally and in Fchat in general. Cheers, Goldy

I am hoping to purchase a "dino" soon, hence my stronger interest in boards like this and information. Welcome to F-Chat! Nice to see new people joining the passion. Vasco and Dbwolrd4k are our resident jackasses, and more often than not, I fall into that category too! In reality there are a lot of great people on here, whom I'm sure you'll meet if you come out to events. We often do drives (never ahem... breaking the speed limit of course....*cough*) and there are usually some open seats for non-owners to ride along. Cheers!
