Is your insurance going up? Seriously, sorry about that, sometimes the luck is just bad. Like those 3 tickets I got on 114 within 3 months. That was around the first Poker Run, I haven't had a ticket since.
Yeah, ask for a BLUE one to ge the texas flag complete Sorry to hear buddy Image Unavailable, Please Login
I sincerely hope that they weren't received anywhere near where we'll all be driving next weekend? Bummer dude.
Didn't listen the first time did you.......... Did you show the 2nd officer the 1st ticket? Tell him you thought there was a 24hr rule. I can just see you before the judge now.......... " Have you been pulled over before"?
First was yesterday in Farmers Branch. 81 in 60.(You'd think with a nickname like FarmerDave I'd get special treatment there, but you'd be wrong.) The second was recieved while on official FCA business, but no, not on the Spring Rally route. 81 in 55. At least I'm consistent. BTW, quick tip for those with Radar detectors, it helps if you turn them on. d'oh!
Sure he can, at least for the 81 in a 60. Deferred Adjudication/Plea Down for the other and he's clear.
Sorry to see that Dave but it happens to the best of us, If makes you feel better, I got busted for exhibition of speed on 7th Street by the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine police last week.
I did get to a few years back. 1st was 77 in a 55 on 35 south of Denton and another 2 hours later doing 77 in a 55 in Oklahoma City. Fun trip, H
Your going to have to do better than two in 24 hours to get any tears in your Cheerios from me. Back in 1985 on a return trip to college, I got two in less than ten minutes, and the second one got bumped up to reckless driving and 4 hours in jail because I was being ****** to the second cop. Heading up 35N through Gainsville, I got pulled over for 80+ in what was then a 55 zone. I was pissed, and when I pulled away from the first cop, I lit them up and took off. (What do you expect from a dumbass 20 year old) Any way, Barney Fife #1 must have radioed ahead to Barney Fife #2, and he was waiting for me when I blew by at 95+ in the same 55 zone. Anyway, I get pulled over, and may have mentioned something to the second guy about his lack of high school diploma, and mumbled something about being a lazy fat f*ck, and off to jail I went. I always tell people that I did learn something at college. I just don't say that I learned it on the way back to college!!!!!!!
I'm sitting at 2 in 10 years.. barely.. 65 in 55 in Arcadia, OK, 1998. Then last fall drove through a red light in the rain in Benbrook, at a blistering 6mph, both front wheels stationary.. I've mellowed in my old age.. Todd
Dave, MAJOR bummer!!! BUT, I did get 2 tickets within an hour when I was 16....IN FARMERS BRANCH!!! They used to wear the old tan & dark brown "Barney Fife" style unifroms back in the day. Coupled with a stupid-a** name like "Farmers Branch".....they were just asking for ribbing & jokes. They soon chnaged to a more "we are crying to be taken serious" black uniform for the sake of respectability. For crying out loud, the running joke was that the entry qualifications to join the Brookhaven Country Club (in Farmers Branch) was being able to sign your name. Still a joke. In high school, we used to call the FBPD the "F.B.I."...Farmers Branch Idiots. ...just for the record, my worst is 4 tickets in one pullover. Dallas PD when I was about 22...... No, I am not a crazed idiot on the road (at least not anymore). I simply grew up, matured, & bought a Ferrari.......sold it, but another comes soon.........
I recently got 2 in one week in Iriving. One was 26mph over the other was 16mph over. Paid an attorney $50 for each ticket and got deferred adjudication on both of them. Even better, my probation periods overlap a bit with each other. Court costs were about $260 for the big ticket and $205 for the smaller one. They are very easy about granting probation, all they want is your money. I consider this part of my track budget, I keep getting caught driving from Plano to MSR. Let me know if you want the attorney's contact info. My personal record is 3 in one week when I lived in Florida. Those cost be about $1K in attorneys fees at a time when I had less disposable income. That was not a happy time.
Just take it to a lawyer, I been on probation in Dallas, Arlington and Fort Worth at the same time and no problem. My worst was 130+ in 35 but only got a racing ticket the cop didn't radar and the guy in the vette was being ****** to the cop, so I got off pretty easy. The racing ticket was cheaper than any speed ticket I've ever got, maybe like ~$120. I can't remember all the others. That's when I was younger and a lot dumber. I've never smarted off to cops though, they are armed.
