    i thought there was a blue one that got rear ended a few years ago, but I thought it was a darker blue.

    Finally arrived from Switzerland today.. overall pretty happy except for paint scratches, mostly on the hood, from someone with dirty greasy hands pushing it around during the shipping process, but I'm hopeful those will buff out. Working on finding a state RMV certified translator to translate the Swiss registration in order to register and get plates..

    Thanks to all here who helped me thru the process, it's been about 3 years since I started searching in Europe: @turbo-joe, @EZORED, @Everettpa1, @TJsBeer, @alpinadvl, @dgt, and especially @ross for putting me in touch with Frank, who sold the car new, and also to me!

    Yes, I'm biased, but I like the euro versions the best. Is your engine cover matt black or gloss?

    Yup, not having the mouse belts alone is a huge plus!

    AFAIK the engine cover is the original black, I wouldn't say quite matte but certainly not gloss.

    Nice Mark! Can't wait to see my brother-in-law's 355b next to the 512TR. I'd originally wanted a 355b, but then he bought one and it seemed silly to have two, and I pivoted to the 512TR because of it's similar beauty.

    I will get hatemail for this, but for me the TR body is so wild that it works best in non-red. I saw pics of one recently in charcoal grey with tan interior that made my jaw drop. Similarly, I love your selection of dark blue with creme hides. Nothing says late 80s design language like cheese-grater sides and white interiors :)
