To assume the third pipe is fake is to not understand where Ferrari are at this point in time.
wow, we're still having this debate? have you not seen the pics from of the crash test cars? all three pipes are functional..
Apart from anything, the middle pipe is of a slightly smaller diameter than the other two which is a clear sign of functionality. If you wanted three pipes simply to make the car look 'cool' they would have been all the same size.
Nah not concluding just giving my 2 cents But they could very well have a 'centerbox' like the 360/430 where all 3 exhausts would stick out from. Faking the whole bunch with the California? Though after all the replies you guys convinced me
im not too sure about the front. looks busy compared to the rest of the car... perhaps this might make it look better? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I dont know.. I just am thinking about the similarities.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm glad a bunch of you don't like the car's looks- It might mean I may actually be able to buy a new one instead of an overpriced used one!
I think the car is just a stunner! One of the best looking Ferrari in a very long time. I think with black, the car will look damn evil! However, i'd like to point out, how much the front reminds me of the Audi R8. What do u guys think?
The car looks awful.... The performance is subpar.... Stay away until Ferrari is truly innovative again.... Deposit in.......
Well said. Instead of lurking as usual I have to comment on this one. All these negative comments are to be expected. It's just human nature. You can't expect people who are very passionate about their current car to immediately embrace a replacement that suddenly renders their car somewhat obsolete. It will just take some time to adjust. The 360, 430, and 458 all have some problem areas with their styling. We got used to them in the 360 and 430 and we'll get used to them in the 458 as well. In the meantime, lets look forward to some interesting road tests and performance data.
