    Hey all,

    My name is Joe, i had my 1st lesson last saturday and it was one of the richest experiences of my life. i hope to learn alot from the people here!

    i believe it will make life better :) my ultimate goal would be able to fly a P-51 Mustang. i love those planes! is that even possible for someone to do?

    good article in a recent flying magazine (I think Warbirds) about a young pilot that started volunteering at local warbird museum. In late 80's he got his pilots license, a few years later started flying the museum trainers, and now he's flying about everything the museum has including a Corsair. Believe the museum is Planes of Fame. So he had zero experience at one point and no background, just through determination and connections over the years he's now a well respected warbird pilot.

    Ohh, there's also the route of buying your own at $1.5m. Many inexperienced pilots lose their lives in warbirds though.
