A tribute to the engine (heart) that powers my 599...I don't expect many people to understand it but I got it for myself anyway Kevin Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cool... the Ferraristas out there will get it in a... wait for it... heartbeat. sorry... had to... maybe the general public won't get the Enzo (the car) connotation but they will simply conclude along more emotional lines... that "the heart of Enzo (the man) is in every Ferrari" idea... and nothing wrong with that either... awesome car... love the colour.. Grigio Silverstone? GT
I really like your idea of what it could be.."the heart of Enzo (the man) is in every Ferrari" idea... and nothing wrong with that either...Now I can tell people 2 things,lol... You are correct on the color...Kevin
Thumbs up! It will never be as bad as one of the neighbor ladies on my court who couldn't figure out what my plate meant on my 2008 535xi wagon: "WAGN FAN"!
Couldnt it also mean Enzo hurt? Meaning putting a hurt on an Enzo? ;-) I know it cant match up against an Enzo, but its the first thing that popped into my mind.
I can only have 7 numbers/letters here in Utah so I was going to go with NZOHART but to me that would be blasphemous to "Enzo" the man... Like I stated before its got more to do with the enzo engine that lives within....Kevin
Iam from NY originally but I too am surprised at the number of Ferraris and exotics around here..Just hard to get them together.. Thats a nice pic of what I call "Murderers Row" at Steve Harris Imports in SLC......Kevin
Kevin, that is a cool plate and very nice 599. If I remember correctly, you opted for the 599 as you were starting to look at 575's? Enjoy your 599 for all the experiences and memories in good health.
Thank You Domenic, I did find this beautiful 575/ SA in exactly the same combination as my car with only 800 miles but it was around 45K more than my car..I wish I had the funds to get it because it was a very fine example..It would be very cool to have both but I do love the 599 and cant complain.. On another note I will be posting it on e-bay this week....I dont expect to sell it but if I can get my price I found 2 16Ms I like....Probably a stupid idea though...Kevin PS Your Barchetta is beautiful!!!!
Thanks. Kevin, I think your 599 was probably a better value than the 575 SA even though they are a very nice car. I know what you mean about looking for another model..... I have been trying to sell my Barchetta & 575 locally and I would look at a CS or Scuderia.........so many choices....lol....I like the 16m as well....lol If you do sell the 599, I can't wait to see the 16m that you will get.......good luck. ps. I bought my Barchetta from Sean at Steve Harris Imports in Oct/09 and I also saw those supercars at the time. There was a Black/Black 575 SA 6 Speed manual for sale & I would have bought that car also. The only reason I didn't is because I had other sports cars at the time.
I remember that black SA well as it was there for awhile...I hate going in that showroom because there is always something I like in there,lol..
First thing popped into my mind for HRT was Hormone Replacement Therapy.. and I'm not even a medico! .. no disrespect intended.. and great car btw!
Cool thread. I've started dreaming up plates for my hopefully soon 599 within 7 digits as well here in Virginia. Just barely began thinking about it. Here are a couple that are available. FIORYES or - Think Red. Say it fast. Maybe a bit silly. FYNYNYN or FINYNYN - Kinda silly, too. Not there yet. But not able to figure out how I can justify moving from the 430 spider yet either, so... 599HGTE and 599FIOR are also available. 599GTB is taken. You know who you are But I prefer to not do that kind of plate. The dreaming continues. Not even checking 599 GTO. That ain't happening.
+1 So, you may have seen my Barchetta when it was there?.... I liked that showroom so much that I was also eyeing that Scuderia with the special blue color......for some reason, I don't remember the name but was an expensive paint option. ps. Do those supercars belong to a local collector?
My understanding is that this collection belonged to a gentleman in Logan, UT. He sold them as a set to another collector in Salt Lake. I could be wrong though.
