New Porsche Carrera - daily driver?

I am in the market for a new daily driver and was looking at the new Porsche Carrera today. I like the looks and some of the updates in the interior. Does anyone have one yet and had any experience to compare with respect to past 996 models? I had mixed feelings with my '99 C2 and 2001 TT with respect to build quality so have stayed away from Porsche since. I am wondering if the bugs have been worked out? Thanks for your thoughts.
