After 8 months and probably several hundred hours of search and research, brought the "new" 2004 F1 Spider home on Friday. Was going to post this then, but kept returning to the road, eventually putting about 200 miles on the car in the mountains east of San Diego (Where we live) on Saturday and Sunday.

The car is in Rubino Micalizzato (pearlescent ruby) with Crema interior. It has 19K miles and is completely stock. Pictures attached.

We had the PPI done at Bobileff Motors in San Diego. Thorough and professional and would highly recommend.

Want to thank everyone on this forum for the invaluable assistance in finding and evaluating this car. Looking forward to future association here.

    Best Regards, Andy

Color is stunning, though interior looks like regular beige, which I also have in my car. Crema is very light and unusual in the US.

Love the color. I wonder what the difference in color would be if I parked mine next to it?

I concur on both counts - the exterior color looks amazing and the interior looks more like beige than crema, which is uncommon here and usually photographs as just slightly off from white.

OK, in looking at my pictures the interior does look beige, but in fact is crema. Used the landscape (user) setting on my camera (Nikon D7000) which apparently did that.

WRT the exterior Allen, when I was searching, I pinned a Rosso Fiorano to my desktop. Then later I pinned the car I eventually bought next to it. Different. My car was advertised as Rosso Fiorano, one key tag said Maroon and the other key tag said Burgundy! Pick a color! How about a nice claret?

Attached are a couple of pictures which more accurately show the interior color.

    Cheers, Andy

Beautiful color. I was looking at a 430 spider in the same color last summer but it got sold. Enjoy!

Yes that looks like Crema in that shot. Interestingly my car was listed as "cream" but when I got the build sheet of AFIS from my dealer it listed Beige and something I had never noticed -- leather headliner. Here's my interior which does look like yours in those earlier photos. I've always loved red cars but when I saw mine I loved it even more. Your deep burgundy looks fabulous.

Very nice, like that colour a lot! Also like the Rosso Fiorano posted earlier as well, both fantastic colours and very rare - think I've seen Fiorano once over here and the other one not at all!

I have a challenge rear grill that is mentioned on the build sheet from the dealer.
