They do look great! (modern vs classic)

It was reported that they're used on the special edition Japanese 512TR and a rare option on the 348/348 competizione:

Jerry -- Did the Seller have 2 sets available as in the original jpeg? Were/are new lugbolts required? What size tires are you running? (I was very disappointed that I couldn't find a wider rear tire for the stock 16" wheels.)

Those wheels and tires give the car a completely different look. Great choice.

Here are the vital stats :

They are found under Ferrari part number 149552 for the front wheel and 149553 for the rear.

The wheels are made by Speedline and are 18", compared to the stock 16".

The tires are Michilin Pilot Sports and are :

    Rear : 295/35/18
    Front : 235/40/18

I got them brand new off ebay from this company (Dennis McCann) :

    http://allferrariparts.com/parts_list.cfm

I got front and rear spacers from Hill Engineering :

    http://www.customferrariparts.com/homemainferrari.htm

Click on "wheel spacers" on the left margin. He has a set for this - The four spacers and 20 lug bolts. I can't say enough good things about the quality of his parts - The spacers were machined to perfection.

Thanks for the data Jerry -- 295s could only make the back of a TR look even more menacing (interesting that even McCann had the description a little wrong in that eBay auction -- I think).

Yes - I like those also - Don't think they were ever on a production F-Car though.

Yes - I think that he had the description wrong for which cars the rims came on.

Very nice Jerry! Really updates the look of the car. Now you have no excuses from coming on the FDC drives. The "old tires" story won't fly anymore! :)

The wheels look nice. Did you go up to 18" wheels and if you did what size tires did you use? Is there any clearance problems.

The handling has improved with a big difference in braking - Mainly because the car was still running on the original 16 year old tires!

Jerry, very nice on your car. The stock rims look artless in comparison.
Wondering how far the driving is improved by switching from 16" to 18" wheels.

No - They are both made by speedlines. The ones on my TR are actually on a few TR's and the 348 Competizione.

The Speedlines on the black TR are aftermarket. I believe they are also 18".

The ones on my car, the center portion of the wheel are identical to the 512TR.
