I know it is not possible to order a Roma anymore . Any new M series ?
Fingers crossed!! It was good to get your own thoughts on this earlier in the year. Are these still correct? Any updates on what you have heard? My own discussions with my F dealer (although still speculation as they have not been told anything by factory) are that if the new Roma is on the horizon, then the engine will most likely be based on the 296 V6 (if detuned a little and less peaky / more low down torque to suit GT). It is unlikely to be another V8 turbo as Ferrari will want to protect the value of the current coupe model. We are unsure how much Hybrid power will be used to support the V6 ice.
Hi, new to the forum and signed up, especially as I received a build spot for a Roma yesterday from the dealer, which contradicts the above. I have never owned a new Ferrari and have been a Porsche customer for years having owned several GT cars. As such, was surprised to see the above. Anyhow, point being, there are still slots available.
Interesting... Did you place an order some time ago and have now received a build slot? It usually takes 12 months or so between originally placing an order and securing a build spot. Or have you just placed your original order just now? If so, then this may be due to drop off of others who have changed their order to the spider. I was told early - mid last year that the order book for Roma coupes was closed. For each new model Ferrari usually release (1) a coupe, then (2) a spider version and then finally (3) a Version Speciale or Modificato (e.g. 488 GTB, 488 Spider & 488 pista, or 812 SF, 812 GTS and 812 Competizione). So the expectation is that a Roma M can't be far off. The speculation is how will this "M" version differ from the Roma coupe.
Hello and thank you for the above. I spent a good 4 hours at the dealership speccing the Roma, with a delivery due for this time next year; also you are right - the order book (for Roma) was closed last year - this slot opened up due to a drop off from another customer. Finally, I was told that I now have an option to place an order for the Roma spider as well.

Unfortunately I think it is a development wheel pre-dating the haptic start stop for the SF90. I do think it’s a better option myself though.
