Let me see if I can Fed-ex a cake filled with Pirelli Girls to the ranch for your party. That should kick start the ticker!!

BTW the rims look P.I.M.P !! Real nice look for the TR! Have you upgraded the Brakes or are they still stock?

Roland - they are as good looking as you said they would be. I like 'em. Suggest not lending them to glenn else there will be grass stains all over them ;) Congrats!

Happy Birthday! Hope you have a fun one. I can't wait to come hang out with you guys again. I plan on leaving Iowa on Thursday morning and staying 1 night with my sister in KC then meeting a friend of mine in Denver for a night. Then I should be available to run the pits at PPIR for you and J. Ferrari.

Let me know if you need anything from Iowa, (I am not sure if the corn is ready yet.) However I am sure that I could find something for you for your birthday!!

Thanks Guys, Pimp, send the cake with the Pirelli girls.
I'm like Sammy, can't drive 55 and I hope for many more years.
Mike, don't worry, these rims will stay here away from Glenn, grass doesn't look cool on these rims.
Matt, we have room in our crew at PPIR, comon down.
    Happy 4th to all

    Roland,

I like the wheels! Can you tell me which ones they are? I was on Ronals website, and couldn't tell for sure. Are they the RT's or the LZ's??

    thanks!!!!

The wheels shown are the Ronal LZ, 2 pc wheels, aluminum/titanium modular wheels.
Ronal makes the wheels in Germany, and these wheels are the same as Lorinser, Brabus, Hartge, Alpina, etc....We make their wheels as well.
We offer the LZ in 17-19" sizes, and you can see them on different Ferrari's
    at
    www.ronalusa.com
    INDEX of CARS SECTION, ...Ferrari.....
.....and you might want to look at Corvette section too for some ideas of CUSTOMIZED PAINTED WHEELS

WHEEL STYLES SECTION, LZ for more options.
    IM or 800-899-1212 for ???

Just a few interesting remarks, beside the great look, I discover that the TR feels much easier to drive. The no power steering seems to be a lesser trouble and the ride is way smoother. Stepping to a 17" wheel made the difference. The Pirelli Rosso are the way to go, don't cut corner with a cheaper tire. Even my wife noticed the difference, that says it all hahaha!!
Also, the car is quieter and I can hear even better my sport exhaust...That's very cool.
Thanks Gary for getting me the right wheel, you were right on the money!

    I saw that.

I only have 2 speeds - fast and faster. I don't worry about things like lawns or curbs.

Roland is way too busy keeping her clean and presentable. One could eat off of the engine bay if so inclined.

Actually, one could eat a human turd and be just fine health-wise, but who would want to do so?

That TR is one gorgeous machine, especially with the new rims. If the price is right, I may step up to the plate as well. The 550 is enough of a different body style that it would not be goofy to have the same model of wheel as His Majesty.

Eat a turd? Timpy is either on or off the meds, I'm just not sure which.

Hmmm and your repy was, "Ummmm... are rooms are to far."

    Doh!

Sheldon, you always took great shots fom the LM in Canada, come down here and have a ball with the TR.
Timphy, his majesty is OK with you having similar rims....just park behind the barn, by the tractor...
Sorry for being to busy at the ranch to take the TR out.. Got to have the place ready for the BBQ.
I'll take the TR out on Friday to Mead raceway for my school day. Got to look cool for the Ford GT that's coming.
AC, stop by Friday and bring your camera. I'll wear a yellow suit to match the GT40.
