The line between the two has definitely been skewed in the design world. Besides, the idea of a hatch-like design sounds allot better than a two door station wagon. The front end of the rendering bares a striking resemblance to Fioravanti's F100 concept. If Ferrari are using an in-house design team, I wouldn't be surprised if they had somebody from Fioravanti. The Superamerica's roof architecture is a Fioravanti patent originally for an Alfa concept... The original post, or one shortly after describes the whole rear lid in glass? If that is to be the case, I could see this style looking much more appealing. The interior is the only bit I have some problem with. A bit nondescript, I think... And far too much like the California for the flagship model. This whole mule-photo frenzie that ensues shortly before the releases always has the tendency to make me bite my nails until the final product is revealed. As strongly as my heart beats for a well spec'd 612, it pounds hoping this is a segment-stealing knockout! _J
Be it hell, high water or Italian imprisonment, I know you'll try and grab a cell phone photo! If not, please burn the image into your brain so we can have you describe it in scrupulous detail! _J
It will be all over the internet tomorrow... it's not only for Ferrari owners! I got the email as well and got excited and then saw news about it on various Italian forums. Apparently they will also show it on Facebook and other places!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! Can you please post a bail bond to maranello in advance!!! I am gonna try my best to get a photo....otherwise...I will give you all the scoop asap I get to my computer! Thats if I am not drunk in cavallino! MJ
Great to hear! I am sure after much speculation this will be an awesome car, having seeing it what was your impression of the styling?
by the way, showed this pic to someone who has seen the car....said that it looks nothing like the pic. The pic above is for the California M...and not the 151. MJ
Wow this is incredible news if it's true!!!! I find it amazing though that Ferrari would "show" the interior of a car almost 2 years before it is to be unveiled... I guess we only have 24hours more to wait and see ;-)
I doubt that it's the Cali M. Here is the link to the car the shots came from. It's definately the new 612 undergoing testing. http://motoringlife.blogspot.com/2011/01/spy-shots-first-image-with-interior-of.html
Everything is speculation untill we see it. Only reason I commented is I passed this photo a person who has seen the car and he said thats the Cali dash being tested...it could be for the M, he said that the 151 dash is much more impresive, bespoke and interesting. As far as I am concerned, all the cars used as testing mules etc...are testing specifics...its not often u will see the car with the complete details out and about. I just dont know how I am gonna survive the next 24hrs let alone another two weeks!!! MJ
in 10 minutes they start the presentation online. FF looks very interesting - like it from the first pis.
Do you actually see something? Except from the page on which you get to choose your language and see a conceptual drawing of the basic shape of the car, I can't seem to go any further... how frustrating!
