I love that stripe! I guess most colors would have a slightly lower value than red, but get what you like, not what you think some future buyer would want :)

I have that color Scud....I was hesitant until I flew out and looked at the one I bought. The color shines best near sundown: I bought the car mostly for the driving experience albeit with excellent records. I would not worry about the stripe....you have options later on if they don't grow on you.

I've seen this car numerous times, though I'm not a fan of the stripe, it's a great car and has been sitting in the dealership for a while, I'm guessing due to the stripe.

I personally would paint one side green and one side red, to have a tricolore and maybe add gold wheels!

It appears the Stripe is a genuine factory option.
Although our Scuderia Stripe is dimensionally an exact replica of the factory Stripe, we would be reluctant to guarantee precise coverage of the version on that car.
Removing the Stripe is a very expensive process, substantially more than the 8K for the original option.
Your other option is to find a professional signage company, who could make a one off, once you had the car. The artwork and one time setup, would be costly.
Your last option is, don't even consider it, find one that's what you want. :D :D
I also wrote this for the benefit of anyone else considering the car, because it's cheap, but doesn't like the Stripe. :) :)
    Ciao

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going to pull the trigger. If so I'll start a new thread with updated pix.

I find the color easy to maintain and no swirl problems.....
