New Scud

Hello Gents. I've just purchased a new Scuderia and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the carbon rotors and how well they will stand up to regular track days. I owned a new 996 GT2 when carbon brakes first came out and I was lucky to get 5 track days plus say 1000km of city driving before they were in need of replacement. Im hoping the technology has moved on and the brake rotor life has improved a lot. I can only imagine what these babies are worth a corner especially the fronts at 398mm. Should I be changing to steel rotors for track work ?
