Hi all, some have ask for pricing after viewing my new seat picture. I've ask Vic to tell me how much he would charge for the Mondial seats.

First lets tell you I was his first Ferrari customer with my 308 and now the second with the Mondial. He would be very happy to enter a new market and would like to know what owners here think of his pricing. I told him I could ask and be back to him with your honnest opinions.

Here is his price list as he sent me to ask you.
Please let me know your opinion.

Claude, here is what I am thinking, let me know what you think? keep in mind, we use only original Ferrari leather and you already seen the workmanship with the 308 covers.

1-Complete 2 front seat cover kit which includes 2 bottom cushion covers, 2 backrest covers, 2 headrest covers & 2 front seat rear panel covers $1,395.00.

2-2 front seat covers only, includes 2 cushion covers and 2 backrest covers (no headrest & no back panel covers) $1,195.00.

3-2 headrest covers if sold separate $150.00.

4-2 back panel covers if sold separate $150.00.

5-$1,000 labor to install 2 front seat covers if customer ships the seats to us, customer responsible for shipping charges both ways.

6-Rear seat covers (no pattern yet), I am thinking $1,195.00 including the center in between seats piece included, without the center piece $995.00

7-Labor to install the rear covers I am thinking $900.00

    Please advise.

    Thank you

    Vic

Thanks for sharing, the seats look very nice indeed.

However - what is the meaning of "original Ferrari leather"?
Does Ferrari sell 1980's hides? Didn't they use Connolly at the time, which is no longer available?

You can still buy old new-stock Connolly leather hides from UK Hides. ;)

Idk if this is what this gentleman is using, though. :)

Thanks for that information, I wasn't aware of UK hides. Interesting.

Those are really nice and like new, did not realize they were recovered. I thought he repaired the cracks and re-dye. Its a bit pricey for me, I would do the rears as well ~$5000 for (parts, labor, shipping) but the way to go if you have the means. I think for that kind of money, I would rather do Fernando's Daytona seats like Hank's Rachel, looks 10x cooler, IMO.

Well, in essence you're getting new seats if you go this route. I think his prices are right in line with what I've seen elsewhere. I do agree that Hank's seats are stunning as well.

What he mean by original Ferrari leather is that Connolly was bought by Autolux and he use Autolux leather.

I would like to know if some of you have found prices in this ballpark elsewhere because I've been trying and never found anythink of quality below $2200 for the covers alone and this was Nick Forza ferrari. Italian car parts is more expensive than Forza and Reoriginal are $2895 for the Mondial without installation.

My feeling is that his prices are much lower than what I've found. And I can tell that quality is there. Please let me know if I'm wrong.

After doing a little research, I think you're absolutely right.

    For comparison:

http://www.xkss.com/car_model/Ferrari/Mondial-1980-1993.aspx?category=Interior%20Trim%20Parts $2400 for the front seat kit.

Similarly, GAHH http://www.gahhinc.com/ wants $2109 for a front seat kit, i.e. just the parts

And, http://www.italiancarparts.com/interior/ferrari.html is more comparable to Vic's in price.

These are absolutely great prices. Also, keep in mind it may be difficult to make the 3.2 and QV seats into the daytona style given the difference in design between the two

Charles ICP price for Mondial cab is $2275 and if I understand correctly the headrest and back covers are not in the kit you have to buy them separetly.

Vic wants $1395 for COMPLETE kit. Add $1000 for labour if you need and for $2395 you have full new front seats ready to install in the car.

    ClaUDE,

Where is Vic located? I wonder if one could drive/trailer out there, wait for it and make a trip out of it. How long does it usually take and what would Vic charge to re-install the seats? Would he throw that in with the labor charge?

Right you are. And judging from his workmanship it is an absolute bargain. Now you've got me thinking about the rear seats in my Mondi... fronts are recently done, makes my rear seats look really bad.

$2,390 for the full car without install? If I understand that correctly, it's a very good price and I'm interested.

He is in California and yes you can drive there. He already told me that for my 308 if someone wants to go there. He seem to be very willing to make it easy and told me that Ferrari and Lamborghini owners would not be disapointed. Those are his words.
