"THAT MUST BE, YOUR MUST COME FROM A MORE COMPLETE MB!
DON'T WORRY, YOU WILL HAVE NO DIFFICULTIES WITH THE DRIVER'S SIDE, BUT THE MEASURE IS SUPER EXACT !, WITHOUT BORDER TO ERROR OK!"
You're so right, very little room. I found the front 90* mounts have to be 'shaved' somewhat as the center tunnel starts to rise up. A little metal removed from the 90* inner bracket allowed the seat to settle in. It's tight with everything at their lowest, but seat will still move back & forth. Next, back 2 mount holes driver's side, then hide the switches under the seat until I get home. It's so tight on the driver's side I may mount the seat switches elsewhere. That huge emergency brake tray really is a pain! Want to keep this totally reversible should someone else want to revert back to stock.

FRIEND, THAT LEFT HAND BRAKE IS A CRAZY THING!
HERE IN BRAZIL ALL OTHER CAR I KNOW IT IS IN THE OWN CENTRAL TUNNEL.
I THINK THAT FERRARI WAS JEALOUS OF PORSCHE FOR HAVING DIFFERENTIATED WITH THE IGNITION OF THE LEFT SIDE (LAUGHS), THERE RESOLVED TO DO SOMETHING ALSO!

Ok, after typing out a large reply on my Ipad, it disappeared... grrr! I'll try again on the laptop. After some use with these seats, I am thoroughly impressed. When I look at my originals now, I see them as cheap old, uncomfortable Fiat seats. Car seats have come along way...! All that said is I won't be changing these out anytime soon. I'm 5'10" and the sightline is great. These seats at their lowest level is an increase of about 3/4" over my worn out OEM. The comfort, quality, robustness, & all around fit is just perfect(for me). The install of the Passenger was pretty straightforward, but the Driver's side, well, very tight... measurements are key. All the electrics work as required, even on the driver's side where clearances are tight. The other bonus is the seatbelt( have Euro car/belts), Driver's side used to 'flutter' with the wind (348TS) and was irritable... The new seats have the upper holder which somehow eliminates that (maybe shorter distance). Very, very happy... thank you 'FULL' for the recommendation.
If one was 6'4" one may have a problem. The sightline with a tall guy might have 'interference' with the rearview mirror, etc. So for all you tall guys.... maybe another seat might be a better thought. OR, pay the Ferrari dollar and buy some 355 or Challenge seats!!! My car is a Drivers car, and it will stay that way. The more one drives the better this car runs. These new seats allows one to drive many, many miles and then just hop out, rather than 'hands & knees' to the toilet, LOL! All 8way seat electrics are operational as they should, as well as 4way Lumbar. I did not hook up the AirScarfe fan system, felt that was MB redundant! And no... all airbags & seat heaters were not wired up, to much of a headache.
So, to sum up, happy camper!!! finish pics will come soon. Any questions, ask away...

I was going to run a new circuit, even purchased a tap fuse. When looking at the fusebox, trying to decide where to tap into, well the lighter is a 10amp, don't smoke, and it's already there! So, ran +- from both seats to center console. all of 15 mins!

So the power switch had to me retrofitted into the side of the seat base? I assume it was on the Mercedes door or what not. Do you have a picture of that in the seat in the car?

Ferrarium, Yes, see post #39. I have not done this yet as most of my tools are back at home. After fitting side panel on Driver's side(tight) I'm thinking of a different option, at least for the driver's side.... not enough room. The switches are basically lying under the seat for the moment. The switches I used came from an early 2000s' Mercedes. Not sure of the exact model but just look on Ebay and I'm sure a listing advertising the right switch will have a list of fitting vehicles. I paid $10. for 2 switches /connectors and a extra pile of wiring harness at the local U-PULL-IT! The newer MB switches have headrest adjustment... not needed with these seats. If you have a problem finding switch, write me back and I'll go look for the part# on said switch.

Lastly, if anyone has some interest in these seats, head down to your nearest MB stealership and ask to sit in one of their SLKs (2012>2017). Give it your 'assometer' test. Better yet, find one with the 'Designo' seats .... MB's TOP LINE Interior!

Ahh OK makes sense. Wonder what the weight is with the motors etc? BTW earlier SLK 230 cars had a manual seat option. Additionally early Audi TT's did too that actually look very similar to 348 seats. I happen to have the Beige interior so they would need to be recovered regardless of the seat used, you black seat guys are in luck I'd say!

When you say 'beige', I'm going to assume "Tan". MB SLK seats come in different colors, White, Tan, Red, 2 tones, etc. I believe the MB Tan is a much darker color and may not look that great... but, my opinion only! The Brits with their white interiors may like MB's White... as they usually come in the Designo setup... much more comfy leather.

Yes tan which called saddle commonly. I'd recovery them either way, close is not good enough, I will be checking into manual TT seats more after carpet this spring.

    Looks great enjoy!

Nice work. I don't listen to Music(other than engine high RPMs) enough to warrant a change for me, but do have a question. Those 2 lower side multi-switches, who manufactures them? I'm assuming they may be part of your stereo system? Are the switches RF units, or are they wired?

    HI FRIEND!
THEY ARE WIRELESS CONTROLS FOR ANDROID SOUND DEVICES!
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-steering-wheel-remote-control-buttons-wireless-android-gps-navigation/292230848782?epid=2209816292&hash=item440a50e10e:g:Q-4AAOSwnJVZpM~b
    WORK VERY WELL!
    THEY ARE STILL LIGHTED TOUCH!
I JUST USED CREATIVITY TO CREATE A BASE ON THE WHEEL TO STAY WELL LOCATED WITH GOOD LOOK!
I HAVE LASER CUT THE BASES MADE OF 2.5 MM BLACK ACRYLIC
THEN WIRE CUT STEERING WHEEL DETAILS AND ADHES ACRYLIC PARTS TO FINISH PAINTING!
ELIMINATE THE DECORATIVE SCREWS THAT EXISTED ON THE WHEEL ALSO, I DIDN'T LIKE THEM!
