Coming this fall on Direct TV. Looks to be interesting. Some high end performance machines in cluding an F40 I saw in the previews tearing it up around race tracks pushing them to the limit. It's never a dull moment, or sound, watching an F40 being pushed hard. Can't wait.

so a US version of Britian's top motoring show (Top Gear) didnt' work out, so they're gonna try for a US version of Britian's second best motoring show (Fifth Gear) and hope it works?

    interesting strategy.

I think the difference (if it makes any) is the US version of Top Gear didn't have the same presenters while the Fifth Gear show is using some if not all of their UK presenters.

Even though Adam Ferrara is a very good friend of a very good friend of mine and is a great guy I still like the U.K. version better.

Nothing can beat Top Gear UK (the one and only!). Top Gear US isn't even trying to follow the same formula anymore. It's just the 3 of them doing the same damn thing every episode in different cars. Oh well.

Fifth Gear UK is good too, though I don't get to watch it. So the version on Velocity is going to be a US version, or just a US-ified version of an original UK episode? Regardless, I'll have to check it out. I keep watching TGUS hoping it will get better...
