new spanish F1 team..on the way!

    It looks like a Spanish team intends to enter Formula 1 in 2008. The team would be funded by Repsol and Telefonica. Alfonso de Orleans-Borbon his the man behind the project. He has a GP2 team and a F3 team at the Spanish F3 Championship. He also has connections to the Spanish King.

    "We are only at the evaluation stage, De Orleans-Borbon told SportMotores.com. "I can't really comment anymore since we are still working on it. It's true we are working on something, but nothing has been started."

    "By middle of next year we will know if we enter," he continued. "After that there will be a rush to get everything prepared and have a car running by mid 2007 and enter in time for the 2008 F1 Championship."
