So put on a set of new wires along with extenders and plugs.

Fired up the car... BAD miss.

Thought maybe something was disconnected I couldn't see.

NOPE... it was cracked right out of the gate!

I noticed the sheathing on the wires was... hard to describe... more "porous" than the ones I was replacing, which had a shiny sheathing on them.

Nothing really wrong with my old wires I just figured since I was doing the plugs... why not?

Wondering now... do the "new" wires quality just suck compared to older ones?

    Brand new wire:

For me, this rather looks like an isolated, single damage.
