New Stereo Installed

After having the 355 for an hour I noticed I had no stereo sound coming from the old Alpine 7897 (2004 Era). I also noticed the previous owner had a custom box made with 2 Focal Subs and covered in Tan Leather. The car was not starting without a jump box and I figured it was the Huge JL Audio 500/5 Amplifier. Stereo Advantage in Indianapolis had the car for about 2 days and determined the battery had a bad cell and needed replaced which they did. I was also informed that one of the 6" Focal woofers was damaged. The previous owner had also installed very high end Focal Midrange & Tweeters in the but 1 of the tweeters was blown. I ended up replacing both tweeters with New Focal's and also replaced both 6" Focal's with 8" Focal's. This required a new sub box and I had them cover it in black since I am probably going to convert the interior over to black. They installed a Kenwood 958 unit with a Sirius Tuner & Kenwood 700w Amp. I was very impressed with the install, sound quality and the fact that my car starts without a jump box! About $1700 out the door and $150 of that was the battery. Bad part was it was monsoon season yesterday in Indy and on the ride home I discovered water leaking (dripping) in driver door pillar area. While I am glad to have the stereo & starting the car portion of this car solved I think I just broke the manual top release by applying to much elbow grease and now only one (drivers side) of the latches is working!
