Thats a bummer Mike. Triple blacks are rare indeed and if one turns up you have to react fast weighing the speed of transaction versus doing a full and proper history search and PPI. I'm hopeful another turns up for you. Kz
Wow guys what a d@$k move on the sellers part. At any rate, everything happens for a reason. Hopefully something better will come along.
Ya f me this and that Watt is pissed he could not low ball me and steal my car for 170k, Johns offer was fair and I have no bones with him, however I did a local transaction and I did sell for less then Johns offer. Seems I owned the car so I can choose to whom I sell MY property. I had no agreement or deposit with either buyer and I have a right to have several options. All I had with John and Watt were emails with questions and some calls, both requested a PPI which I did at Shelton who originally sold the car and they even offered me more then Watt, tells you something. Shelton did a full diagnostic and it was super good on all counts as well brakes had less then 10% wear.
Rob, This dishonest wanker is not fit to be in our midst I request marc yahr be permanently banned for dishonesty Thanks adios yahr
So basically you mislead them? Sure it's not illegal....but there is something called common courtesy and standing by your word, you should learn it!
This guy is a pr!ck and dishonest to say the least. He exemplifies one of the things that is wrong with this world. There was a point in time where a mans word was his bond, unfortunantely those times have passed, at least for this guy who makes sure he is always #1. Riverflyer, it sucks that you didn't get the car but at least you don't have to wake up every morning and be Marc whoever; in the end you didn't want a car owned by this type of person. I agree with Watt, BAN the schmuck.
Hey Marc - I'm not pissed that I didn't get your car - and still think you are a complete jerk... Two pieces of advice 1) Don't piss in our pool unless you want to get thrown out, and 2) Learn how to write. Even with your edit on top of edits - you still sound like a moron. Admins - this is worth a perma-ban.
Racerboy, that might be taking it a bit too serious. I feel for riverflyer because it sounded like a done deal. However, it isn't entirely what is wrong with this world. The guy sold it to his close friend. That is how the world works. There are many other dealers and guys out there who sell their cars, even 'accidentally forgetting to put a reserve price' on it when posting to ebay - thus selling short, yet they'll balk when it comes time to seal the deal. I've seen that happen before. Best of luck in the 'right' car for you riverflyer.
Funny, If I were to sell my Strad I would let my friends know just in case. Of course the ones that love cars and have the means.................. I sure wouldn't tell them after I had a PPI done for a buyer (s)......
Yes, my offer was fair and thats why you VERBALLY AGREED TO IT and sent me all you bank info and your lawyers name, number etc. You f*&ked yourself with your dishonesty. I think Racerboy said it best, I may have lost a car, but am already over it, with a huge upside, I don't have to wake up as a wanker (hows that Derek?) every morning.
If the car was truly in an accident that the seller knew about and didn't disclose you guys lucked out. Now I wonder what his so called friend is going to say when he finds out he bought a wrecked car. Better start looking for a new place to store your cars buddy! Karma is a *****.
Was the car "wrecked" after Marc bought it because I thought it was perfect when it was for sale by Drew? And how bad was it "wrecked" ? G
history: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=188417 timeline: first owner disclosed accident, drew buys at 175. 1/8: Yahr tries to sell car on 6speed as pristine. i happen to mention it hit a deer, his buyer runs. yahr has my comment removed by 6speed management. 2/8: he says he never knew car was hit i make him an offer based on damage. i call premier, dave makes it painfully clear he had talked with marc wanker yahr and told him extent of damage long before my interest [i believe as part of his purschase due diligence], and re-confirms what i remember learning from original owner. mid-2/8: being a fool[ having had previous experience w/ yahr lies and failure to stand by his word] i make lower offer which he accepts, and i take car to ppi. i also email with original owner who re-confirms damage and repair, and he confirms he has also reconfirmed it with yahr-wank. 2/28/8 now, knowing i know he knows, marc wanker tries to flog car to riverflyer as pristine! pure calculated dishonesty and intent to defraud, multiple times. my guess is if either of us had sent a cheque, he would have cashed it and said in this thread any fault was ours for trusting him. we let our guards down when we think we're dealing with a member of our community.
Did you or Yahr know it had been hit before Yahr bought it ? It's only interesting to me because I was shopping Stradales when this car was for sale. G
This Marc Yahr is really a dishonest person. Lets hope the people who do business with him find this through google
Sounds like him selling the car to his "friend" is the best thing that happened for you.... did you really want to pay premium for the car and find out later that it was in an accident? Blessing if you ask me....
