Big thanks for Mr. Carbon McCoy for picking me up an event poster from the meet, I got it framed today.

Also here are some other posters that I've collected over the years. Please excuse the angles, the flash was getting into the shots.

Classic Ferrari 328 GTS dealer poster
    Norwood Autocraft 330 P4
Vector poster signed by Jerry Weigert (sp?)
Porsche 930 Turbo with my last name on the plate.
    FIA Rally Mexico 2004 banner.

I have more posters but many are in storage.

    Nice posters!

I came back from Monterey with a Pebble Beach Concourse poster, a pair of F40 posters- just like yours, a F355 poster (also Pirelli), a Gallardo poster (also Pirelli), a Pirelli S7 poster- signed by Steve Saleen, and a Historics poster. I need to get some poster frames too ...

To top those off, I've still got to frame my signed Meadowbrook poster (signed by Stanley Rose) and my Concorso d'Italia poster (signed by Jay Koka)...

Very nice, you have some rare posters. I'd get that drymounted & framed.

    btw,
If anyone has an extra 2003 Ferrari Challenge tour poster they would like to sell, please let me know.

I looked yesterday but couldn't find a poster frame that size... The 355C poster is a little over 3ft x 2ft.

Huber, how the hell did you get a poster of a Porsche with "HUBER" on the plate...? That's awesome...!

    Carbon,

The Porsche poster was a gift from Porsche North America, somehow I got on a mailing list. It just showed up in the mail one day. I've had that poster since the late 80's.

I had to get a custom frame shop to mount the Monterey poster. (33" X 23")
It ran about $50 bucks & it was done in less than one hour. Very well worth it, imo.

Your frames look the same as mine, just regular poster frames. I got the frame for my poster for $9. Is your Monterey poster frame a fiberwood/cardboard back with lexan cover and black slide on plastic sides?

LOL Porsche sent me one of those personalized posters too. I thought I was the only guy to keep it to this day!

Nope, Styrofoam backing, metal gloss black frame with glass coverings. It's such a great poster, it was deserving of a quality frame. I have used less expensive frame kit but I never had good luck with them.

    Greg,

It's also good to know that I'm not the only person that kept their poster as well. They are a rare find. LOL!

Didn't the same poster turn up at the wall of Jerry Seinfelds appartment in "Seinfeld"?

Perhaps someone can confirm. Jerry is a big Porsche-lover and it shows in the decoration of his TV-apartment. There are several Porsche-prints on the walls and I believe this is one of em (don't know of the plate says 'Huber' though :D )

Yep - and I still have mine - and another one - a silver turbo - both with my last name on the plate.
The Porsche posters in Jerry's apartment changed over time as did random things like the brand of bicycle hanging in the back hall.
Now - what's the prize for dragging a 14 year old thread back from the dead? LOL

    Like your setup :)
I have a lovely set of various valve covers (250-Dino-Alfa-Lancia) made out of fibreglass
that might be a nice complement hanging on the wall.
Some other guys really have liked them.

    Regards, Alberto
