Hi all, Just purchased my first Ferrari. A 1990 Testarossa. Ever since high school I have always looked forward to the day when I would buy a Testarossa. I used this forum a lot to determine what to look for and have to thank all for the great info. I didn't even know what a PPI was until surfing thru the threads. I test drove a single mirror back in November when one showed up near us and was blown away by the quality of the car. I maid up my mind to start looking for the one for me. I am a long time vette owner and had thought that they had finally got to a solid quality with the 6th generation but I have to say that the Ferrari is much better and that was an 1986. The Testarossa drove with such feedback that you feel totally in control. The ride is smoother and you can actually talk at cruising speed. Anyway the car I purchased should be shipped late this week, the wait now that it is mine will be agonizing. Later

Ah the lovely auto seat belts... I used to think they were so awesome when I was a kid. The drivers side retractor is missing its red release button but still operates fine. I will have to call a dealer to see if the recall was done, knowing who the previous owner was and the condition of this car I would have to believe the belts were done.

There's a special place in my heart for the Testarossa. Congratulations. Some cars 10 times the price can't provide enjoyment like that of Italy's temperamental redhead. Can you tell us the serial number?
Congrats on that new toy! I know the feeling you have because I was in it 2 weeks ago ;-) Enjoy it and like Curtis said joint us in the TR section. There is a lot to learn.
