We had the best turnout to date on our last drive and lunch, the day after Thanksgiving- 24 people and 20 cars! A big thanks to The Malibu Cafe for the awesome food, service and location. A big shout out to the valet guys as well.

Hey everyone - new owner here. I am in south Orange County but would love to drive up for one of these. Any plans for end of December? Any thoughts of going further south?

 

Hi and welcome to Ferrari ownership!

Yes, we have one coming up on December 30th and you're welcome to join us. This is a regular monthly event specifically from LA's Westside (Brentwood) to a different location in Malibu. For that reason, we don't go South at all. However, there are other drives and events put on by the FCA in and around OC. I'd be glad to provide more info if you'd like.

A belated Happy New Year!

Another great turnout for our last drive and lunch of the year on Dec 30th, despite some drizzle here and there. For safety's sake, we elected to not do a canyon run this time but will do so one of the upcoming dates.

A big shout out to the Malibu Brewing Company for accommodating our big group inside at the last minute!

Next one is on Jan 27th - details to follow.

Apologies for not posting for some time. Last month's drive and lunch was cancelled due to the weather. But we're on this month and have our event this coming Friday the 24th. We're going to Paul Martin's American Grill in Westlake Village via PCH through Malibu. The exact route will be finalized the day before because of the current weather (need to make sure the roads are safe enough).

Heck, my browser clears all cookies when I close it, and the site still takes me to the first unread post in a thread, once I've logged in.

Navigation and sessions here are a little different from where you start. My brain is melting, I did a half-awake navigation audit and got this, enjoy the confusion:
/forum/account/alerts takes to the first unread post
/forum/threads/+specific.thread+/unread takes to the first unread post
/forum/watched/threads and /forum/threads/+specific.thread+/+page-x+ is like regular navigation (fchat>forum>subforum>thread) that has enumerated the pages but clicking the title takes you to post #1 and clicking the last numbered tile takes you to top of the page on that indicated page.

Previous forum iterations had >> aka "right angle quotes" that often went to the last thread of the last page.

Sorry we've been MIA but February and March's lunch and drive were either cancelled or shortened dramatically due to weather and/or road conditions. We did have one in April and here are some photos, belatedly:

 

This month's lunch will be at one of our original venues; Duke's on PCH in Malibu. Since it's relatively close to our meetup spot, we'll be doing a mini-drive beforehand and circle back to Duke's.
