    Yes, there are the many FCA events including the last Friday of the month lunch and drive. The past couple have been only a short drive and lunch due to the poor road conditions and closures due to the recent rains. Next month should be back to normal.

    Hi All,

    It's been a while since I posted about our monthly drive and lunch. Due to the recent deluge of rain, the condition of our canyon roads and also PCH has been less than perfect, so we've only done lunch and short drive to the restaurants. But I expect that to improve in April so stay tuned.....

    Sounds good! I know too much about that, I blew 2 front tires in 2 weeks on potholes...this rain has been brutal to the roads

    If you want to come up north past Santa Clarita, the canyon roads are nice here. A destination could be the Rock Inn in Green Valley or Jacks Place in Leona Valley.

    A buddy and I frequent Jacks Place. Great food, friendly waitresses and lots of friendly country peeps.

    I've been there a few times, that is a great place. There's some really great roads up there too, Spunky Canyon is awesome.

    Too many pushy, rude people in the LA area. Don’t care if I never go there again. Oh, and you won’t get harassed by any homeless people if you go to Leona or Green Valley.

    I definitely will, one of my best friends lives in Santa Clarita so we try to get a drive in once every few months or so.
