    Hi all,

First post here on Ferrari Chat. I am not a Ferrari owner but I am a car lover and I have been lucky enough to get to drive my fathers Ferraris. I am also very interested in watches, fine wine, scotch, as well as bespoke shoes.

I am currently 22, unemployed and hoping to get a job soon so I can start saving up for my first Ferrari. I currently drive a Mercedes G500 (my main motivation for getting a job ASAP) and I have a had a few Porsches, and Land Rovers in the past.

I have driven a lot of modern cars (really want to drive the old ones though) and I promise to be honest (not that anyone will care) and hope to make somewhat of a contribution to this forum.

    Welcome!

No, there are many, many here that are not owners. The only requirement I know of is that you have the passion and interest in the marque.

Enjoy yourself. You'll find a tremendous amount of knowledge of Ferrari from many perspectives on this forum.

I'm 22, finishing school, and don't own a Ferrari. There's plenty like us here. You'll be fine. Just keep a positive attitude and be honest, this place can open up doors you never knew were there.

    Where are you from?

A warm welcome to you. As BD stated, ownership is absolutely NOT required, only a passion for the marque and a desire to learn and contribute regarding same. :)

    Welcome! :D

I don't own a Ferrari yet either, but will one day have a Ferrari 348. :)

Actually, it was through guys on this site that I got my first ever ride out in a Ferrari. I think you'll find most here are very welcoming and encouraging of those with a passion for the marque and an ambition to join them as owners. :D

The subscribed areas are also pretty interesting and engaging (silver politics forum, silver business forum, silver banter forum, etc...). ;)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Welcome. I learned a lot about the cars here before I became an owner. There are lots of non-owners on the site.

Welcome, as you will see there are a number of people here at FChat that are aspiring owners, past owners and Ferrari aficionados in between Ferrari's. We all share a passion for the marque in one way or the other. If you listen patiently you will find a wealth of information about the marque, it's history, technology and Ferrari's individual models past and present. Be respectful and you will become a sponge of information that is given to you in all sincerity and freely. Again welcome, you're in for a great ride!
