I just discovered FerrariChat on Sunday, when I needed help fast. My Dino # 4212 tried to convert itself to an air cooled engine by blowing the heater control valve and spraying coolant everywhere. And I thought I had done a great job getting the dash lever unstuck by leaning on it pretty hard. The valve was stuck, and doing this blew the internal seal. I have a Fiat 850 valve coming from NJ, and with all the helpful posts (and much direct help from John Corbani) know what to do. I've been through all 30-odd pages of the 206/246 area, and found loads of projects to do. Replaced the glass in my rear view mirror today. John encouraged me to post a photo, so here it is. Thanks to all for this great resource.

    Jim,
Thanks for the picture and story. Welcome aboard. Let us know how things turn out in a future post.
I took the liberty of editing your picture a little bit. FerrariChat photo posting capability is among the best on the Internet. They expect you to take full advantage of what can be done. I wrote a Saga a long time ago about high quality posting. Search. Briefly, you edit your picture until it looks good on your computer, you reduce it so that the longest side is 800 pixels, you Sharpen it so it looks fantastic at 1 to 1 pixels on your computer screen, then you download it to FChat. If your editing software does not Sharpen or if your software can not get to exactly 800 pixels, a software upgrade is worthwhile.
I copied your post, Sharpened in PhotoStudio and reposted in this reply. AFTER and then BEFORE. No other editing. There is quite a difference and such a beautiful car deserves it.
    Again, welcome aboard,
    John

John, that sharpening is terrific. New Heater control valve is in (the Fiat Part from Bruce in NJ was $38 with the gasket, and it was identical to the original part). It was a lot easier going in than getting it off, thanks to the suggestion on FChat I saw about cutting two box wrenches in half.

John "PhotoStudio" Corbani strikes again!!! Way to go! I'm going to send you a PM about what are your current favorite photo software programs and scanners.
