Finally got an 812 a few weeks ago and today was my first drive. Car is great and wild - loved it. One issue though - the speakers are massively messed up (car has upgraded JBL system). The car is CPOd and on inspection it shows that stereo and speakers were marked as good by the dealer but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Speakers at any reasonable volume (not loud) have a lot of crackles / vibrations / distortion. As soon as there is any bass whatsoever it gets significantly worse where you can’t even listen to it. Has anyone experienced this?
No problems with the JBL system in my 812SF besides disappointment regarding the sound. Hopefully the Burmester system in my 12 Cilindri will be much better.
i have noticed that mostly on the bass when the volume is a little higher. i “fixed” it by turning down the bass in the EQ, enough that makes it go away without totally losing all the bass
Thanks all! One other question - all my other sports cars are manual - this will be only the 2nd dual clutch car I’ve had since my 911 GT3 with a PDK. In manual mode are the upshifts meant to be fairly harsh regardless of mode? I get how some harshness is meant to give the car character (based on some things I’ve read on here which I don’t mind) but I do worry at times maybe it’s too harsh and I should be concerned.
Yes its an italian car thing, its supposed to give drama/character to the car. Its software controlled clutch drop/clamp. Its a bit strange.
