458 New-to-Me Giallo Triplo Strato 458 Spider

    After a long time of lusting and plenty of hard work, I have finally realized my dream of owning a Ferrari. I purchased this CPO Giallo Tripo Strato 458 Spider from Ferrari Westlake. This was apparently a born in Ferrari's Taylor Made department to be used as a dealer display car for Ferrari Manhattan. As a result, it has all sorts of beautiful and interesting touches to the spec - factory carbon fiber door inserts (and carbon fiber about everywhere else), titanium metallic paint on handles of the doors and carbon racing seats, leather headliner, paint-matched center wheel caps, and a bunch of other bells and whistles. I'm in love!

    You're both right - it was lowered with Novitech springs in those photos. I did like it, but unfortunately to CPO it they had to remove and revert to stock. They lowered it somewhat, but not as much as with Novitechs. The gap is like 2 fingers now compared to 1 before. I do have the Novitech springs that were on it, so I could put them back on. Thoughts?

    I'm very torn. I'm not sure if the smoked lights and lenses was original or added by the previous owner, but the complete look really works for this car. It's all very clean (for example with black calipers). But there's something I love about the look of red lenses on the yellow, as ferrari intended basically. Haven't decided yet, I'm really about 50/50 on it. Would love to hear other opinions too.

    What color is yours with smoked lights? Throw up a picture of you like, let's see!

    My car arrives later this week so I'll post a picture then :) I'm having the shop take a look to see if it's vinyl or something else. If it's easy to take off, I'll probably have them remove it as I do like red lights. The car's color is white!

    Mine is on Novitech springs with 10mm/15mm spacers. Love the look but you do need to be mindful of poor roads. The frunk is lowest part of car and can scrape. I'm tracking it at the Annual Experience so will know more about handling then. However, aesthetically I love mine lowered.
