Hi All, Happy to be a part of this forum and the Ferrari Club of America New England Chapter. Quick story…I was invited to the launch of the Scud at my local dealership with a friend and his father who ordered one new in 2009. My friend and I washed it for his father after he took delivery in exchange for a quick spin. Since I drove it I knew I’d buy one in my life. Fast forward to me finding an off-market example a few months ago. I am in love with this car and will never sell it. I’ve added UV protecting clear window tint to all of the glass to help keep the interior in top shape. A window mounted phone holder is therefore a no-go. The vent mount holders don’t seem to work well. Has anyone found a holder that sits in the rectangular compartment under the stereo? Open to any other ideas you might have. Thank you! You can attach something to the carbon fiber using trim tape. I made one for my carbon fiber 430 (non-scud) center console out of go-pro mounts and a phone mount. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nope, that is why you use 3m trim tape, the grey stuff. You remove it with dental floss then some "paint safe" adhesive remover just like you would when de-badging a car. You may even luck out and find space on the top of the Scud console to put the mount instead of the front like I did.
Thanks! I found a cigarette lighter mount on Amazon. Figure it’s worth the $10 to see how it holds up
