Weekend: Black/Black Audi R8 near Westroads Red 997 GT3 w/Florida Plates @ Target on 180th & Center Yellow ACR Viper - Best Buy 75th & Dodge Today: Yellow Murci Roadster
Nope, someone else - entirely new. Hasn't been referenced here before. Just recently decided to go buy an R8 and new Cayenne Turbo on 22's.
Saw that white 599 in the outer ring of the lot at Scheels a couple of weeks ago. Sorry guys, not been on in a while. Ref to red 288GTO. I know of ONE, but it is never driven, so if anyone has seen one on the road, it is NOT the same one. Please be aware, that there was a company eons ago that made body kits to make a regular 308 look like the 288 - don't be fooled (there was one for sale at a Dana Mecum auction I attended in Des Moines about 15 years ago). Ref to Gray 2008 Gallardo Superleggera - it was ON THE DEALER LOT of Quest Auto Sales @ 45th & L. Don't think it was ever registered in the dealers' name. Last Friday night (the 12th) saw a blue Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe driving north on 480 and continuing on the North Fwy-------IN THE SLEET DURING RUSH HOUR!!!!! Ryan - you don't get to keep saying "Yellow Murcielago" every time you purposely drive by it JUST to see it. LOL
I think the actual owner of Quest was on here awhile back, maybe on this very thread if you page back. As far as driving in the sleet - 1) If you drove it to work, you have to drive it home, 2) I'm pretty sure the car won't dissolve when moisture hits it. British cars have come a long ways since the 'Lucas, King of Darkness' days.
Gray G. Yes, I think you are correct, but there was a question about I think just a page back. Just reiterating. Oh, don't get me wrong, if I had it, I'd drive it in all weather. Just surprising to see a new/nearly new half million dollar Rolls in the elements, considering how many owners treat them. What is interesting though, if you think about it, we (usually) spend far more on our homes than on our cars, and they are in terrible weather all the time!
Owner of white 458 was at the MB dealership the other day with his car, looking to buy the SLS. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey AraLM, He custom ordered the SLS with "Liquid Silver" paint and Carbon package, but decided not to purchase it - that's why he hasn't taken delivery yet. I'm quite surprised you didn't recognize him as a prominent Omaha person....?
Yep, the salesman talked to me about the paint, it looks fantastic. He asked me if I knew who the owner of the 458 was but I didn't know, and the subject was changed before he could tell me. Is it PJ?
Is the one in Omaha legit? Also, can ANYONE verify if WT had a yellow 288 that he rumored to pay close to a million bucks for back in the early 90s sportscar price bubble?
