Hello, I am new to the Arizona thread. I am in the process of buying a house in Scottsdale. This will be a part time place and I will be spending more time there next winter. I plan to bring either my 599 or 458 down for the season. Which do you guys think would be more fun to have in Scottsdale?

I look forward to mingling with the Fcar crowd and other car enthusiasts at your Cars and Coffee gatherings. Also not knowing the area very well I am looking for recommendations on where to buy some furniture.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Cheers,

    RPM

    Duh!!! The 458!!!
Seriously, either car. This is a great car town. The Cars & Coffee event here monthly is the best in the country. And there are several other events going on all the time. Drives through the twisty mountain roads are great as well!

There's a row of furniture stores on Scottsdale Road between Cactus Rd and Loop 101. Ladlow's is a good place.

We just bought a good amount of new stuff at Thomasville, it is on Scottsdale Road north of Thunderbird.

    Nice stuff.

Welcome to AZ. As Dave said, there is a very active car community.

Either car would be fun. I'm prone to the 458.

I have been following the chatter on the AZ thread since I first decided to buy a place in Scottsdale, and it seems there is an event almost every weekend. I look forward to bringing the 458 to the party.

Thanks for the info regarding furniture stores.

    Cheers,

Indeed. Scottsdale is a great place, check out Fountain Hills and Paradise Valley, they are all fairly close.
