Does not affect all 456s or 456Ms. Just luck of the draw to get a bad set or even part of a bad set.
and airco is fully operational but not cold enough in the beautiful 35 degrees budapest. so some gas will need to be added. do you have any clever advice here? thank you an advance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Affirmative, change out the dryer/filter while you are at it. Ferrari recommends every two years for the dryer, but most owners do not do that. Have the service guy leave the vacuum pump on her for several hours if they can. Will draw her down to a better vacuum and get all the water out of the system.
My original set of 18" 575M wheels is on a 456M, too, and so is my old set of Novitec NF2s. Nice thing about Ferrari wheels is you usually do not lose too much money buying and selling them.
we made close to 500kms, budapest-vienna and back on motorway at 130 km/h (sometimes bit faster) plus abt 50 km city driving and surprising 17 liters/100 km consumption! i like to follow the consumption as i beleive that it indicates the health of the maschines. it seems that he likes the OMV MaxxMotion Super 100plus fuel.
17 litres it's close to reality. It's the average consumption of mine. But 1 liter of oil for 1000 km, it's rather high. If I have to add half every 5000 km, it's the maximum...
i will follow the oil consumption. interestingly our cayenne turbo took 1 l/1000 km while the panamera turbo only 1 litre per 10-15k kilometers... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats with a beautiful machine!! You said three ventilators.... What do you mean about that? Three electric fans? Extra?
Nice that it's red and even better with the 575 wheels. IMO, 456's look best in red and yellow.... and all colors are better WITHOUT the stock wheels. Enjoy!
I didnt post in the last 2.5 years. In the meantime we made around 7000 kms with no major issues. Of course yearly service is needed and she went under some back suspension, airco and cooler repairs beside the normal oli, filter and belt treatments. Still we love her and as she is getting older (design is 25 years old...) receives more and more thumbs up. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Perfect combination. Rare to see a Red/Tan 456 Auto. Ooops, Didn't realize this thread was from 3 years ago. Update on car please. Have you enjoyed it?

The 3 years 456M journey is over for me. I sold her and bought an FF. Different world with all admiration for 456. Still learning the new toy….
