I picked up my old Fiat Boxer yesterday after having a new set of TRXs installed. You would not believe how much better the car drives. I had forgotten what a new set of tires will do for the ride in a car. My old TRXs had plenty of tread left, but they were over 15 years old and needed replacing...and I'm glad I did! If you're debating replacing your older tires...do it...the new ride quality is well worth it...along with the safety factor too.

    Frank,

Is the going rate for TRX's "an arm and a leg"? The last time I priced them (for my Euro 308), it was the same price as the repro 308 wheels from Superformance, minus 16" tires of course.

Anything tricky to watch out for when mounting the TRXs?

I paid $350 each from Coker Tire . The TRXs are no more difficult to install than any other tire.

    Frank,

Did you go with the stock width TRXs?

Or, a little wider in the rear?

Stock size front and rear. Due to the known weak rear-end in a Boxer, I would be a little nervous about increasing the rear tire size.
