I just read this morning that Ferrari is bringing a new and improved turbo unit to Canada. Seb and Kimi were not at full power the last 2 races as a result of the turbo issue. This weekend could look promising for us.
Meh, I'm sure they will look fast in practice and people will get excited only to have Merc .5-.8 clear in qualifying and dominate the race. I'm not falling for the hype again.
Ditto. Im sick of all the pregame from the teams as if something different is going to happen. Merc: we're worried about Ferrari's pace...no... We mean Red Bulls pace. Seb: our car and pace is better than it showed the past several races (Im pretty sure that means youre wrong) Ric: yeah...i won 3 races a couple of years ago. Those were all me...i got screwed out of two wins this season...that was all my teams fault. Kvyat: im looking forward to driving beyond my ability and careening into the wall of champions and taking out half the grid. Kimi: mumble mumble mumble...something about not being happy....mumble...oh we'll peak at the end of the season. (Yep...that makes sense...still cany believe i read that)
Well, isn't canada a power circuit? And aren't Merc still the undisputed power-meisters? There you go. Merc 1 - 2 here we come… And that means Ham for the win as he is pretty handy round Canada… Could Ferrari battle RB? quite possibly. That will be an interesting battle for sure - well, at least the Max vs Seb battle will be fun. Kimi can battle Ricci for 'best of the number 2 drivers' award.
If someone expects that with these upgrades the Ferraris suddenly are going to start winning everything, then he´ll be back here in Sunday afternoon moaning about the team. But piano, piano, si arriva lontano.
Ferrari had to go to a American company Honeywell (shock, horror) to sort their turbo issues. Love it Flame on.
Well, Bas did ask who's your money on to clout it this year; Seems like a reasonable bet to me too! Either him or a good backup in good ol' Pastor of course..... Cheers, Ian
Kyvat won't hit the wall, the guy he pushes into it will......... and he won't care, it's racing (sic). Get with the program!
Hey, if they've made progress I don't care if the man in the moon did it! At least it seems they're smart enough to realize what they don't know & humble enough to get help! Cheers, Ian
Ferrari has been working with Honeywell since the beginning of the new turbo era. Yes, that includes the infamous F14T
well for all the diehard believers who still don't think ferrari sucks again this year, if team red can't clinch montreal, i hope you guys turn around to see reason. can anyone confirm the new turbos will not be a token spend? coz if they are, that means Ferrari will only have 1 token left for the rest of the year lol.
Ferrari had reliability issues in testing and was running at reduced power. Now allegedly they have solved the problem...... 2016 F1: Ferrari to race new turbo in Canada ? :: PaddockTalk :: F1, Formula 1, NASCAR, IndyCar, MotoGP, Le Mans, And More! Time will tell...
Bet if it was on eltons car the FIA would probably recredit extra tokens for him, the biased pillocks
Don't you have a sense of humour them? Jeez. That's why threads get derailed, people taking things too seriously, not because people have a joke at some drivers expense.
Seems there will be a lot of upgrades for Ferrari this weekend. New turbo, New rear and new shorter front nose. Rumors for now but it will be interesting to see what they do try and what they actually use in the race.
