    Eheh spot on! It’s just crap for the customers having such a nice car but with a normal construction specially when everyone else is going full carbon chassis (at lest the tub)...

    Ferr9000 can you confirm if the chassis/tub is aluminum?

    Grazie

    Plate = TARGA!
    For those who don't know italian, "targa" means "plate", but in this case it's a subtle hint at the type of car.

    Thanks Ferr9000!

    I remember around 2011 I read an interview with a Ferrari manager declaring they were developing MMC technology (metal matrix composites) for next generation cars' chassis. Since then I never saw/read/heard anything more on this subject. Maybe the time has come? Or everything has been scrapped...

    Ferr9000 posted the number plate of the BB and that's a hint (he replied to F2003, who was asking if the mule could be a spider). The italian translation of plate is "targa", which is also a term used to describe cars with a roof that can be removed (LaF Aperta, F355 GTS etc.).

    By the way, Ferrari filed a patent a while ago..

    Might as well be, and that 's more likely. All this is pure conjecture.

    If it’s a targa it needs to have CF tub/chassis otherwise it will wobble right?!
    And you don’t what that in a car that’s focused on performance and not fun.

    What is (will be) BB's time around Fiorano track? That will say something about how Ferrari themselves rank the car. Is it time for the new king of the hill?(literally - track)

    First off Tesla is not likely to even survive much less make this roadster.

    Second I will never abandon ICE because I love the sound, the vibration the muscle factor. Not saying at some point I won’t buy an electric car but I will always own a ICE vehicle.

    Depends too much on the tyres. Keep in mind that the LaFerrari was on 2013 Corsas. If the BB is on 2019 Trofeo Rs or Cup 2 Rs, the difference from the tyres alone is several seconds. Anyway, let's wait and see; I am more interested in straight line performance, as this is less tyre dependent (they still matter at the launch).
