    I buy cars about every two years so it seems I am constantly getting them. With my purchase of Maserati I got one right after buying that said if I filled out they would donate $25 to some Italian charity then I got another that said they would donate $20 to some random charity, I guess they feel if you can afford a Maserati that buck they usually send with it is not needed. Now I just got one from J D Powers with a nice crisp $5 bill in it so feel a little more guilted that I should complete this one. My problem is very little about it is actually about the car more about magazines I read and other life style questions. I get way to much junk mail already and am wondering if filling these out only increases it. What do you guys do with them?

    The more you fill out the more they send.

    If you feel guilty, then they have done their job. They guilt you into responding in order to get higher number of responses and higher quality responses. They think that if you feel guilty enough to send it, then you will be honest and not lie.

    If you do not feel comfortable sending it in, then don't. If you feel guilty about the money then send it back to them in the envelope provided.

    Came up with a solution, I filled it out but made sure I found every little code and bar code in it and crossed out with a marker so they will have no idea who it is from.
