    I came in this morning and no new emails since about 3pm yesterday, however, my personal email is still swamped.

    Thanks for the heads up. I also got about 10 of these emails over the night. I thought a new virus may be the cause.

    Hey guys. I just got this email at work. Does this mean that it was caught before it got to my inbox by virus protecting software? I'm fairly computer illiterate so I appreciate the help. Matt

    Don't know if this is true, but one of our $5 an hour help desk people told someone in our group that you can find out if you have the virus by...

    Alt-ctrl-delete
    click on Task Manager
    click on Processes Tab
    click twice on title: Image Name (puts in alpha order)
    look for Taskmon.exe (this is bad news, means your are infected and need to call the helpdesk)

    No Taskmon.exe, but i do have a Taskmgr.exe file... i'm guessing that's supposed to be there...

    Funny thing is there isn't a [email protected] email address. A PM or email notification had that in the "From" address and that's what the virus is pulling from, even though it's not valid.

    I went up to my local BMW dealer today to get some service done on my MINI. When I went it the service advisor that usually helps me was frustrated because she could not access any of the BMW databases. I looked at it for her and saw that she had the mydoom virus. I got rid of it for her and everything was fine. It is amazing how fast something can spread.

    *thumbsup* I'm surprised no one else saw it, nor that they had any preventions or alerts on the virus.

    today... no mydoom's came about, but for some reason, all the old nachi viruses propogated about the network. fun fun fun.

    am i the only person that has not seen any sign of this infection yet. I changed my E-Mail a couple weeks ago maybe that has something to do with it.
