    While ordering my new key, I asked if Ferrari could still get new visors for my GTS. Surprisingly, they can! They will make them to order. I requested the price and even the parts guy was laughing - 272 for the driver's side and just under 1100 for the passenger's side.

    I'm definitely skipping this but what in the world would cause there to be that much of a difference??

    Jeff, does the passenger visor have a lighted .mirror? That might account for the difference in price.

    Perhaps just scale of production. The passenger visor probably gets very little use, never wears out and there is not much demand for them.

    Ive had this experience when purchasing the door sills. This can come down to one being available on the shelf. The other not. So...as a buyer wanting the unavailable one meant a premium, which is the rarity issue and you supplement them making more as the others sit on the shelf. I paid more for the right sill than the left. Purely on there were no right ones in stock.
