Sweet! I think a 15mm spacer and lower is the look. I will check now but I think the 25 is proud of the side panels as well as fender.

Yes it's a little too wide. I was planning on adding the spacer to the other side tonight but stopped to look it over again. I took a long 2x4 and checked all the planes from the wheel lip to the fender top, side panels just after the strakes, rear bumper, and Pininfarina badge. It's outside on just about all of those except the lower body panels just after the strakes. It's going to throw debris rain and dirt out the back and even up past the fender. The adapter top lug nuts only got like 1cm purchase on the adapter studs so it didn't really feel to safe. The allen hub bolts also gummed the threads in the hub a little but it may have just been thread locker. New bolts went back in ok after back checking and careful wrenching. So I just removed the 25mm spacer and will see what the tire shop says on Saturday. Not sure the stock 55mm bolts can do a spacer too. It would only be like 1 cm of threads in the hub. I have the long bolts from the stock wheels but they will need a 25mm spacer. Maybe I can ask them to knock out the studs and use the 25s on there own? But I still think it's too much on the slightly wider OZ wheel. Thanks for all your help. I will look at a 235/40-18 on the fronts and see if the sidewalls match up well enough. The wheels are pretty slick so I will adjust the perches next. Well maybe next year. Oh yeah, it may just be my lifting style too. I do one side at a time so the opposite side gets loaded and it takes a while to settle back. It needs to be inspected and put away this month, around the dang snow! I will try both tires and storage on Saturday but I guess I don't have to move in just put my lock on. Cheers and have a good weekend.

Anyone know how much perch does how much dropping on the ride height? My VMaxx kit on the Miata was about 1/8 inch of threads for about 1/4 to a 1/2 ride height.

Thanks Drive It. I stopped by the Firestone shop and we looked at full right lock on the drivers front. Sure enough, it's right up to the fender liner grill behind the battery. Any wider and it will rub especially on 3 point turns, exits or dive under braking. That explains the popular tire size. So then I got my storage area set up and stopped back at home for lunch. What size perch wrench do I need? My Miata vmaxx wrench is a little small and short. Ill check now. Not sure I will lower it much. Is the height linear from threads to ride height? The springs are exponential right? Over analyzing, I know ;)

Got the lock nut loose but my wrench is too small for the spring perch. This wheel and tire is taller than stock so I may wait a bit. Or just order the wrench anyway and wait. Great cruise tonight. Waiting for my Frutti di Mare Linguine right now. Lobster and Scallops et al. ;) Right smack in the North End.
