I remember that article, I actually have it. In the September 1991 Car and Driver, they tested the 348 against the Syclone, and the Syclone beat it in the quarter mile as Seth said. Interesting article and fun trivia against people. They tend not to believe me and I have to dig up the magazine. The article was called the $96,000 Sting. Anyway, nice car Seth.
    Here are some of the #'s Ferrari 348: 0-60: 6.0, 1/4 Mile: 14.3 GMC Syclone: 0-60: 5.3, 1/4 Mile: 14.1
    Pretty amazing

I spoke with Craig Jackson last week and he believes the vehicles could bring as much as $75,000 or better at Auction. He stated that this is going to be the year of the truck as well as the american turbo cars, ie. Grand Nationals, T-Types, Typhoons, etc....

I also have a 1987 Buick GNX #40 in the collection.... it's actually my partner's car, Original MSO, never titled, under 1000 miles... last 3 digits of the vin is "231" which is also the cubic inches of the motor. Very Unique, all original, should be worth about $200,000

Currently working on obating a 1987 Buick Grand National, T-top and a 1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am, both MSO's with less than 100 miles....

This Syclone is Showroom Condition, not a flaw, runs as new. It's amazing, I drove it about 5 miles and I was very impressed....

Yes, Leno does in fact have one and so does Vince Neil, but Leno's was a Theft Recovery from 1992 and Vince Neil has a prior "Lemon" vehicle, there were a handful that went back to GM and then were resold under Lemon Law... This luckily is not one of them...

1991 = 2995 Produced. According to records approximately 1500 of them
were shipped overseas, believe it or not, Russia has a
    ton of them.....

1992 = 3 Produced, 1 of them is in the GM Museum, 1 of them was Red, and
the last one was White..... The Red one was totalled in
1994 and the White one's whereabout's is unknown. But
the 1992 Models were more "tame" than the 1991.

The GMC Syclone is a turbocharged, AWD pickup truck that has the distinction of being the quickest and fastest truck ever produced. They were manufactured by Production Automotive Services, Inc (PAS), who also did the '89 Turbo Trans Am.

    Eddie Van Halen - Syclone
    Jay Leno - Syclone
    Randy Travis - Syclone
    Vince Neil - Syclone

I just picked up a 1993 GMC Typhoon about a month ago. I got it from the original owner and it has 51,000 original miles. I would love to keep it but i think i will get in trouble with it. You should check out www.sy/ty.org. Its all gear around Syclones and Typhoons.

Always loved the Cyclone and Typhoon, and I always wondered with the SUV craze coming (at the time) why they didn't continue building them.

Oh and by the way, KEEP IT!!!

Ahh the Syclone and the Typhoon trucks. I remember when they came out.

Liked the Typhoon with the stock rims.

I used to check them out on Ebay (going back a year +) and they were all going pretty reasonable, in the $20's.
