The SSC Ultimate was at Supercar Weekend. To me it looked like a Lamborghini with a body kit.

I saw an SSC at Celebration in '06 and thought it was a kit car, as I had never seen one before. It kinda resembles a Corvette in the rear.

Do you choose a wine according to its alcohol level?

No (unless you are some neanderthal who thinks a good time is measured by how many cheap beers you can pass through your body in an evening with other loosers).

Then dare I suggest ( I mean hammer your head with the news that) it is not about horsepower but about the experience of driving a particular car and how it makes you feel?!

My most memorable drive was not the F50 or the 333SP I drove but a 375MMM: 1950's technology -brakes and steering on strike suspension...what suspension?!;-)) it was like driving a wheel barrow with 340hp but I had a tremendous time with an incredibly spirited machine. In total contrast I saw my first 300kph (187mph) in a Mercedes AMG with my co author Simon in June and it was as boring as a date with a communist math teacher.

As the girls say it is not how big it is but what you do with it (dear moderator I hasten to say I mean the horsepower and the throttle here ahem:)

How silly does the hp war has to be before most people smell the coffee?

    I rest my 2 cents.

The comment I liked was one I overheard at Pebble.

    "He's pretty short."

"Not when he stands on his wallet."

Any Ferrari, any day. This is a kit car on steroids. If you want to spend $600K go for the Pagani Zonda. Now thats a car that is impressive and has some build quality to it! PS following up on the prior comment as my wife would say (not about me) he stands "tall" at the bank!

Give me the Veyron any day. Over any car. Except I would take one of the Royales

First, there is that name Bugatti, second, its hand built by VW to incredible standards, and third, when the "GT" version of the Veyron comes out with the rumored 1275HP, this kit car will be just that, a $600,000 kit car.
