    Caution: This is an opinion thread.

    Ever since I sold my 360 with Tubi and bought my F430, I was never pleased with the sound of the exhaust. Yes, I tried disconnecting the valves. I found the sound LOUDER but not better. So I had Wil at Maranello Racing Cars install the X-OST muffler with X-OST tips and valves. To my ears, it sounds better than stock from the first time it was started to WOT. What is interesting is that the stock exhaust always had the big difference when ever the valve would open and it was very noticeable at certain RPM's. Like an On / OFF switch. With the X-OST it is more subtle and just a very even increase in sound as you increase the RPM's and the valve opens.

    Here's a couple of pictures and a link to the video file. Frankly, the sound on the video does not do justice to real life.

    I definitely like the sound better with the X-OST.

    Fantastic sound!! I agree that the standard exhaust is very disapointing. This is a huge improvement.

    I love the HRE's and it is so nice to see that 430 owners are starting to do some mods. FNA has everyone so scared to make any changes, it's nice to see some of you lucky 430 guys have some balls. Nice stance too.
