C'mon. Lets hear em A few of mine off the top of my head - Stop taking my laptop to class (not productive at all. Trust me) - Stop smoking whenever i get depressed or stressed There are more that i'll add as i remember them
Haha, I hear you. I took mine once but ended up going online and playing games, so I stopped, easy as that .. my resolution...Don't make one. Really...probably eat healthier.
Get into better shape Buy a new house when prices get cheap Get a car I've always wanted Finish tons of projects @ work Travel to some more places Finally get my ankle fixed (been putting it off too long)
- Continue to get into shape - Build up cardio (which is terrible right now) - Be able to buy an E36 M3 by this time next year
I have a son being born on or around March 25. I made a deal with my wife that I will be absolutely finished smoking by then. So, come January 1, I'm going to start slowing down big time. Wish me luck!
Same as above. I had a 99 M3 convertible, loved that car but ended up selling it. That one was bought by parents, so hopefully the next one will be a solo purchase.
My resolution is to not have a resolution. Really though, try to be more positive, stop dwelling on the small stuff that keeps me up at night, and some others I don't want to mention at the office.
My last year's resolution was to implement a lifestyle change of dieting and exercise and to date, I have lost almost 70#. This years will be to restock my garage and attend several track days!
Daymn! That's great. How did you do that? I really need to drop 70 pounds. The say that every 10 pounds is something like 20 horsepower at the track. Dale
I just realized one of my most important ones - Have my parents paid off or almost paid off by this time next year. I owe them quite a bit of money from them bailing me out of CC debt over the summer and its time for me to really step up and start paying them back
Started with lip zipping with walking and weightlifting, targeting the legs to burn more calories. Then I went on to running and swimming.
-Actually start the business I have been planning for some time. -Rebuild my oldest Ducati. -Eat healthier/eat less/exercise more. -Don't waste another single day at some stupid mall in shopping hell with my wife. -Less computer surfing.
+1 The serial #'s of the best Ferrari ever made and my fchat namesake http://www.qv500.com/ferrari250swbp2.php
I finally wrote them down. Here are my main resolutions I have a bunch and spanning over different time frames Short Term: - Learn 5 guitar songs (i have them written down) - Read minumum of 5 books over break - Investigate Summer Internships - Write down to-do lists and use my planner more By this time next year: - <7 minute mile (easy) - Have parents more than 50% paid off (they bailed me out a while back and i need to start paying them back) - Be financially stable/happy with where i am financially - Be able to comfortable holding a conversation about: - Beer - Wine - Watches - Guns - General Business - Finance - Stock Market (Basically become more knowledgable on the above subjects. Some i already am knowledgable about but just keep up to date with info & learn more) - Start building my own tube amp (just something that interests me. I know nothing about them yet) ASAP (mainly time managment): - Guitar for an hour every 2 days - Reading for a minumum of 5 hours a week (i don't read enough. I sit around and do nothing when i could be learning) - Gym at least 3 times a week - Run 2 days a weed, 3 days a week by April - Stop taking my laptop to class (may as well not go to class) - Stop smoking when i get stressed/depressed Long Term - E36 M3 by graduation This is also a handy site: http://www.squidoo.com/KeepYourNewYearsResolutions
Try and keep a steady workout program instead of doing it for a while then quiting then starting again. Do more things with my son. Try and save more money.
