    I will only post here about trading the 2002 ZO6 in for a new ZO6. I'll post comparisons with the Murcie and Diablo. (If my son let's me drive it) Can anybody guess the color I (my son) ordered?

    were you able to order it at or near MSRP? I have seen them with 100 miles going for an avg of 20,000 over...crazy but its a nice car.

    MSRP believe it or not. We buy all my Chevy trucks at invoice. A good friend owns the dealership.

    It will be un-biased as I'm a sports car guy thrilled that each manufacturer pushes each other to greater heights of performance!!

    Not too many of them filtering out around these parts. I will wait a year then the GM dealerships will accept my employee discount. Should be a substantial saving on a $69,000 car.

    What options did you (he) order? 1LZ or 2LZ package ? Nav radio (U3U)? Chrome wheels (QL9)? Comp grey wheels (Q44)?

    When can we expect a comparison to the italians at the home?

    I know Dave's review will be impartial. Nice to see guys with Ferrari's and Lambos that don't frown on Domestic Products.

    I saw a new Z when I was in Seattle last night with a few friends. It was the first C6 Z06 I have ever seen. It was one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen probably cause Im such a huge Vette fan.

    They have been in my neighborhood since the middle of the summer...however I commute to work right past the GM Tech Center so I get to see lots of exciting stuff from the general before it goes out for sale to the public. They have an account at the same car wash that we have our corporate cars washed at. Lots of 'M' plates zipping around metro Detroit.

    There have been a few new Z06's driving around the area of Las Vegas I live in, and the are very cool. My dad and I like the yellow so much, we painted our 73 Chevy Nova the Millenium Yellow of the C5 Corvette...

    I actually got to sit in one for the first time today. Coming from someone who dogs every single domestic product and will only drive German cars because of this (italien someday!), they did a great job on that car. The interior is a thousand times better than before. I can't believe I'm even typing that! Hopefully it holds up and GM has made a turn. For the money, your really can't beat the performance. I look forward to your impressions!

    on my way up to Chicago on I 65 saw like 8-10 being shipped up north on an open trailer, nice to know a $65k+ car gets the open air shipping :(

    Anyone know of a dealer that has allocation? My order is not going to be picked up, my dealer did not receive allocation for the year.

    Well we picked her up tonight.....I am totally impressed!!!Very short throw shifter. We are in break-in now but she pulls and pulls in 3rd and 4th even from 2k rpms. I feel the pain of unfilled orders as our dealer was just informed he is NOT getting any units second half of this year. I really like this car!!
