    Wanted to introduce myself to the forum. Not the best computer operator (age thing I guess) so don't know if this will make it as a post or not.
    Just bought a 98 550 last week but have been visting the side for a couple of months.
    Site looks like a very good spot for information. Only issue (that I know of to date) is one sticky switch. I am sure I will have other issues and hope the site can help me out.
    That's it for now.

    its an amazing site. i'm in the process of buying one and i've been doing my homework for 6 months now. amazing group of guys. can't say i can live without their knowledge and experience.

    Welcome Oldman! I have the same 550 but argento nero. I like your interior. I think many of the 550 WSR cars had that color interior. I also SCCA race a C5Z06. Aren't you amazed at how similar the vette drives to the 550 except the 550 has no corvette hop. I find the chassis of both very similar even after stock changes. My C5Z06 is setup with T1 suspension when converted to racing and recently my 550 got resprung and moton double adjustable shocks. They ride the similar again.

    Hey "Fatbillybob" ... thank you. When I first saw this car I was not sure about the color combo but the more I looked the more I liked it. I am in my 60's so I figured black , brown and tan were for "old men". :)
    As far as the Vette, I really have'nt got to drive the 550 yet to compare the two. Just got It last week and weather has not been great here. But there is a lot of resemblance from the rear end look and tail lights.
    Sounds like you may be a serious driver!

    You have a gorgeous 550 there. For a self proclaimed "old man", you have this posting thing down perfectly!

    My wife is from Lexington. Great place! I think the saying goes, "Where the horses are beautiful, and the women are fast."...or something like that.

    We get up there a couple times a year for Keeneland. I hope to see you driving around!

    I was like you too..I was a newbie and didnt know much but once I bought my 575 the members on here really help each other out and in no time you will know and learn so much about your 550.
